When I was a small child my grandmother often read poems to me by Robert Louis Stevenson.
In junior high school my sister took me to my first poetry reading. I remember sitting in a circle with the adults and being mesmerized by the music and ideas in their poems.
Over the years I have been fortunate enough to have participated in workshops and conferences with some of our finest poets including, William Matthews, Thomas Lux, Robert Hass, Galway Kinnell, Robert Pinsky, Carolyn Forche, and so many others.
I have enjoyed a wonderful career in Speech Pathology and now I am able to focus the majority of my time on writing and publishing. Traveling is an additional passion.
The most remarkable human being in my life happens to be my daughter.
